چکیده
The significant increase in transportation and heavy vehicle traffic has caused freeway routes with to face a decrease safety levels. Furthermore, fatigue sleepiness are proven be two of the main reasons road accidents, therefore focus on these issues is crucial. Factors such as “use engineering (safety) technology for transport”, “informing drivers various educational methods”, “controlling drivers’ work hours”, different (alignment inconsistency)” “observing mental health” should approached reduce accidents by sleepiness. Given complex interrelationships between variables number structural equation modelling been used this study estimate effect relationships multiple variables. Data were collected during 5-month period interviewing (2765 filled-out questionnaires). Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) also ascertain validity questionnaires. mentioned factors affecting analyzed using SPSS 24.0 package, which allowed ascertaining that health factor greater influence drowsiness. Therefore, actions improve emotional (by improving currently alignment inconsistency) enhanced rather than excessive controls hours GPS, papers inspections.

Driver fatigue is an important safety issue for long-haul truck drivers. To provide an efficient means of obtaining sleep, long-haul truck drivers often use tractors equipped with sleeper berth units. Depending on the type of cargo and distances traveled, long-haul truck drivers either drive in teams or alone as single drivers. Team drivers, therefore, typically sleep in a moving truck whereas ...

Background: Road accidents, as the main causes of mortality and disability in the world, have been seriously endangering human health. Human factors are among the most significant causes of road accidents. This study aimed to investigate the association between high-risk behaviors among truck drivers with their fatigue and drowsiness in the occurrence of road accidents and near miss accidents. ...

This study assesses a possible independent effect of sleep-related breathing disorders on traffic accidents in long-haul commercial truck drivers. The study design included integrated analysis of recordings of sleep-related breathing disorders, self-reported automotive and company-recorded automotive accidents. A cross-sectional population of 90 commercial long-haul truck drivers 20-64 years of...
